Biography

Redbill began studying music at age 12, when his brother gave him his first guitar. After a period of studying alone, first with his grandfather’s guitar and then with his own, he felt the need to learn music theory and improve the techniques used by guitarists. After a period studying at a music school, his teacher put him in charge of teaching beginner students. The hobby turned into a profession; he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Faculdade Santa Cecília (FASC) and is a partner in the company Redbill Música e Artes.

He formed the band FISHEAD and released the album Green Hope in 2012, recorded and mixed at A Voz do Brasil studio in São Paulo. The album was mastered at Sterling Sound Studio in New York by engineer UE Nastasi. The eight tracks selected for this work present a fusion between hard rock and elements of progressive rock with lyrics focused on environmental issues and positive messages.

In 2016, he participated in the composition and performance of the guitars on the album *The Tribe Tools*, with musicians Fernando Valero, Almir Belotti, Fabiano Manhas, and music producer Wagner Derek. The project features seven instrumental tracks highlighting the guitar solo duet, and one track with the participation of singer-songwriter Jezer Ferris on the song “Fire of God”.

In 2018, his band Fishead released their second independent album, *In My Hell*. The eight tracks selected for this work also present a fusion between hard rock and elements of progressive rock, but now with their new vocalist, Jezer Ferris, with a heavier sound, more aggressive vocals, and darker lyrics. The album was recorded and mixed at Acrobat Studio in São José dos Campos – SP, and mastered at Absolute Master Studio by engineer Neto G.

In 2019, he released his solo guitar project Noise from the Universe, recorded in and made available for streaming on digital platforms two singles: Supernova and Time Out. Recorded in his home studio, with the participation of Wagner Derek on piano, bass and drums, production and mixing. Mastering was done with André Cavalcante, in Rio de Janeiro – RJ. In this project he used his handmade guitar made by Luthier Jairo Rocha for recording. The album art was produced by art director and illustrator Diego Machuca.
