Redbill began studying music at age 12, after getting his first guitar from his brother. After a period of studying alone, first with his grandfather’s guitar and then with his guitar, he felt the need to learn music theory and improve the techniques used by guitarists. After a period of studying at a music school, his teacher put him to teach classes for beginning students. His hobby became a profession, he holds a Bachelor of Music from Faculdade Santa Cecília (FASC), and is a partner at the company Redbill Música e Artes.
